I remember the first time I walked into a boxing gym and had all my preconceived notions about the sport and its practitioners shattered.
I can vividly remember being blown away at how cerebral boxing is. The physical demands are impressive but that could be said of many sports, however I didn’t anticipate the level of thinking required to be a good boxer. I fell in love with the sport and I’ve since felt empowered and enriched by its mental and physical benefits. The sport itself has much to offer to literally anyone. It doesn't matter what your age, gender or fitness level is, if you dedicate yourself to boxing you'll reap a multitude of benefits.
Boxing is like life because just like everything else that requires skill; there is a direct relationship between the hours you put in and how much your abilities grow.
